Activate your ring
Demo Bank sent you a ring with a letter. Enter your customer number and the activation code from the letter, then hold the ring to your reader or phone.
Your ring's PIN
A new ring has no PIN. You create one when you activate the ring. After that you enter the PIN every time you use the ring. You type it into your browser's or phone's own window, never into a web page.
- Windows computer, Chrome or Edge, with an NFC reader. The browser asks you to create the PIN. This works today.
- Mac or Linux computer. Chrome creates the PIN only over USB, so a ring needs the Kyrios USB base. It is planned. Until then, use a Windows computer.
- iPhone or Android phone. A phone can use a ring that already has a PIN, but it can't set one up reliably. Activate on a computer first. The Kyrios app will set the PIN on a phone later.
You're on a phone. If this ring has no PIN yet, activation will probably
fail here: use a Windows computer with Chrome or Edge. If the ring already has a PIN, go ahead.
After five wrong codes the code is locked and Demo Bank sends a new one. Demo Bank accepts only Kyrios ID devices, and only the ring the code was made for.
